big shrimp

i talked with mr rutt at carolina seafood the other day to check on availability of shrimp and he told me that he had no small shrimp. they were bringing in just 10-15 count at this time. that is some huge shrimp. he priced them at $3.30lb. not bad. just a note to let you know that he has been getting a good supply.

And where is Carolina Seafood … and how much do you have to purchase

Dang, I need to make a trip down down there. My season was so bad last year that I am out of wild shrimps and hate the taste of most of what is sold around here (farm raised).

Call Tommy Edwards, fresh off the baot in shem creek, to place an order call in the am around 9. Number is 843-442-2970. He had the big ones for 3.50 lb. talked to him on Friday he said the brownies were showing up strong

Local Boy, Just having fun.

I’m with y’all. I’d rather not eat shrimp then eat farm raised foreign junk.

carolina seafood’s number is 843-577-3853. good people and great, fresh shrimp.

that’s where my dad gets his. my mixed cooler from the harbor looks sad compared to those 15cts!

Dude my dancing will keep everything away. I am looking for big numbers from BB this year. Buying a new freezer in anticipation of filling it up!

hey doug; can i have your old freezer? ha ha. i too hope to do well at b/bay. first i have to go. that would be more than i did last year. hard to believe that i did not go once for the first time in almost 20 years. heading to santee this friday with son to catfish. hooked up with a charter captain. was going to everglades but the oscars do not seem to be there. i will try and give you a yell next week with the report.

No old one available Bobby, I am buying a small one to put in the garage in the hopes that I can fill it this Fall. I also did not go as often as I had planned but, I think part of that was having such rotten luck that it just got harder to make the drive down only to return home with a shrimp dinner. I WILL do better this year. Give me a call we’ll do it together.

was just kidding about the freezer. i have two already. going down there and sneaking up on the skrimps together would be fun. we will definitely plan on that . maybe we can slide out on a weekday or two also. i am hoping that the usc football schedule works out this year and the wind stays away.
