Big Snowies, White Marlin & Sword Fish

Went to Tarpon Springs FL. to make a trip with Captain Rich of the Viking Gulfstar. The plan was to leave Sat AM and return Wensday AM. The first stop was in 840’. We caught:

This one weighed 48lbs:

All of those where caught on electrics.

I caught both of these at once on a hand crank. I was going for a snowy record:

The other fish is a barrel fish, very good eats.

The next day we spent trolling looking for the edge of the loop current. On the way we saw this guy:

Made another deep drop in 1300’for tiles but caught this ling instead:

We did not find the edge that day. We set up for swordies that night and caught 2.

Then the next morning we caught this while trolling looking for the edge:

We found the edge and caught the dolphin and caught one wahoo.

Set up for swords that night and caught 2 more.

To do this trip contact www.gulfstarfishing.com. The boat is very nice and the food was awesome.
