They should be getting ready to make the run up the lake soon with the temps cooling off!
When does this migration typically take place…historically that is? I know this year, from what everyone says, is sort of screwed up.
And when the migration does start, how long until they end up in the Blacks bridge area?

I got a memo that said “no fish will be available past the bridges this year” so I reckon everyone should should just fish the backs of the creeks on the main lake…I’ll let you know when I get an update…lol I’ve already been “peeking” up there…

If you’ve had fun catching fish on the transom bait, you are welcome…
I’ve spent about 85% of my life’s wages on fishing, the rest I just wasted…
Woody, just let us know when it is good to go up. I am thinking I will hear that about May next year.

No, no, no Woody! Everyone needs to wait until after Thanksgiving! Being first is overrated

I only live six miles from the landing at Kempson Bridge…trust me Woody…you are going to see me there! I am definitely tried of hauling my boat to the other end of the lake.

I fished this afternoon but there weren’t many schoolers hitting today up my way. Decided to try the Berry’s spoon and on the first drop it never made it to the bottom. These pesky white perch are going to ruin me yet!! I caught 10 or 12 real fast, then the dad blame 7 lbs. blue cat bit and by the time I got him in he had pretty much scared off the perch. Grand total was 1 catfish, 14 perch, 2 short stripers and 2 largies. Not too bad considering the shape I’m in right now. Never saw any big stripers on top this afternoon.
