I have been thinking about getting a kayak lately, and just ran across the Jackson Big Tuna.
Does anybody have any experience with one of these? I would love to be able to take a buddy or the wife and this looks like a viable option for that.
Also, they make one w/ a rudder, any opinions on if they are worth the extra $200.

The Tuna is a great boat! I like the rudder personally, but this boat does not “need” one. If there is one downfall to the boat, it is the weight. Can be a bit heavy to car top, but works real well in back of a truck.
We do have one for Demo here at Time Out if you would like to try it out. $55 for a 24 hour rental, which is refundable against a purchase.
