Old pump stop coming on auto and just runs all the time when triggered, so I buy a new auto wire it up, the one that checks evey 20secs and it never comes on, so I wire the old one back up and by pass the auto switch so i just turn it on and off. Any suggestions to get back to auto? bad wire? thanks

By the way, what color are the three wires leading to the pump. I know what color the wires coming off the pump are but sometimes the wires you connect to, don’t match. Know what I mean?
I’d check for an inline fuse.

There is a inline automotive type fuse (1/2 inch-plastic) beside the batteries. Changed my pump only to find out it was the fuse.
