The fuse on my bilge pump keeps blowing. The pump works when hooked straight to a battery, but when hooked to the toggle switch, it keeps blowing the fuse. Is the toggle bad?
Open wire someplace? Mine did that until I found a skinned wire.Pulling the wire to the switch cut it along with the ground wire.I pulled it all out and started again.

pull th pump out and check it for debris in the impeller, probably has some crap in it, if its over three years old, go ahead and replace it
