Bimini Bones

I thought I would share this. My best friend’s son has been majoring in both Marine Biology and Photo Journalism in college. He and a couple of his buddies got a sponsorship/ grant from Guy Harvey, Aftco and Yeti to shoot some photo documentary films of bone fishing in the Bahamas. His name is Harrison Grimes and his photography is amazing. His fishing skills are excellent too, but he had a good teacher (his dad) You’ll be seeing his name again :sunglasses:

I’ve been getting daily updates with pictures, they caught 22 bones yesterday on flies[:0] Here are some still shots…

Check out this last one! I’m proud of that kid, his Dad is proud too:smiley:

Very cool. I don’t like them, they are having more fun than me.

Really cool job to have. I wish them luck in the field.

They are having more fun than I am too Doug. Probably a lot warmer also!

Not really a job a this point, just a couple of college kids on Christmas break, but I’m sure it will lead to other assignments. I talked to him the other night, told him to do what you love, learn how to do it better than anyone else, work hard and follow your dreams. If you do what you love it’s not a job and success will follow.

Great photos

Awesome pig bonefish!

Great pictures. As a fellow photographer I personally think that they are cooking their photos too much, but that is just my $o.o2.5. I only say that because that same thing was said to me by someone who I respect.

Great pics though, and yes, I’m jealous because I wish I could be there doing that now too.

Great Post!!

I think so too and I told his Mom and Dad the same thing last night. They asked me to be critical and I said go easier on the special effects and color, and focus more on content. But what do I know. He’s working for Guy Harvey and I’m not

Here is a trailer for a soon to be released fishing show… the shot at the end is amazing. Guy Harvey will like that!
