Fished last couple hours of the outgoing this AM off the Wando. Water temp was 73, kinda windy. Targeted trout where I’d found them a couple weeks ago but only dinkers hit my bait. Then found a couple stacks of sizable reds, hanging in the shallows at little creek entrances that were draining. Mud minnows under cork or on the bottom worked. Weren’t interested in the artificials I threw them. 24, 23, 22 and 16”.

Good stuff! Much better than me… I got hit with the first cast fish catch curse… bait never hit the bottom and went screaming, wrangled his tail in thinking I’m about to wear em out when in reality that was the only fish bite of the day… what can ya do!?
