Their by 10:45.watertemp 64degree"s wave heigth 4ft swells 10 secs wind out of the west. Did hook up with bugcatcher on the radio . We kept in site of each other all day they did well to .Did manage one ars ,to many bsbs, good many pink snapper, beeliners, and to many freaking sharks.Must have lost 15 pds of lead today. Are little guy chad 11years old talking smack to older guys was hilerous. Him saying hes going to out fish everyone and dam if he almost didnt with all those sharks.Good job chad.Bugcatcher class act thanks for that mason jar of fish stew out theirwas great. Picked to leave spotted big sun fish hate to hit that thing wide open.We all ran back to the hill at 4:00 .Ran in 35knts all back by 5:30.Zack call me tommrow if you want to go shad fishing next week.

sounds like a good day fishing. four footers, eh? how was the wind? were they white capping? sounds a little rough.

Go Fish, that was Ceviche, fresh filleted ars, olive oil, sugar, lemon & lime juice, tomatoes, green onions, garlic and cilantro. we mixed it the night before than soaked the fish for about 2 hrs.it is even better if you soak it overnight, it usually dosn’t make it back to the hill! the citrus acid cooks the fish. glad you enjoyed it!

If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.

Thanks bugcatcher for recipe will try .No white capes it was swells at 10 to twelve secs apart and wind about 10 knots . Yes 4ft swells ask bug cather he was there to eh?

just look at the buoy reports to verify 3.6 to 4ft. we look at the isobars at weather/maps.com along with wa4phy.net to make our go no go decisions. if you depend on noaa alone, you will be alone and in trouble!

BC,

Can you expound on the isobars please???

Red stripe thats when you look at a weather map and it shows you the high and low pressure systems and you see the lines around them. The closer the lines the stronger the winds and pressure. The further the lines less wind and pressure which affects wave and sea condtions. Thats just one thing that effects seas. You also have storms, fronts, and so on.

correct go fish, the map friday showed the nearest lines in new jersy (low pressure near MI.) and west palm.no pessure gradient anywere on the east coast.if there were two or more lines running through our costal waters, the wind will be rolling! closer the lines harder the winds. usually around a L/pressure the isobars will be tight.

If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.
