BLACK BASS - UDC

I don’t know how the “powers that be” have decided that we have overfished the Black Sea Bass. We spent 4 hours 3-5 miles upriver feeding Mud Minnows to small Black Bass. We finally had to go to using 6" Mullet to get out of the aggrevating things.

We had 12 hookups and got 4 to the boat. All released.

Back at the dock we saw a 73 pound Cobia that was caught at the Light. Heard of a 50 pound one caught Sunday.

pretty sure that’s not a black sea bass…

Yes, it was, but a small one. Caught many over the past 50 years. Sorry to dispute you.

The first is def a sea bass, I caught like 20 today. I agree with Capt Fralin on the “powers to be”, I hope they change this around.

We do not rise to the occassion…but fall to the level of our training

As long as David Cupka is on the board, nothing good will ever come for the fisherman.
