Blackend Seasoning

Who has an all around Balckened seasoning recipe? I love a backened burger with blue cheese and I also like to blacken dolphin. Is there a universal seasoning for all meats of should I have one for beef, pork, fish etc?

Try this, it works for me, on most fish and meats.

Emeril’s Essence Creole Seasoning Mix up a batch of this seasoning and keep it on hand for giving just about any savory dish a “kicked-up” flavor.
INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all ingredients thoroughly and store in an airtight jar or container.

Yield: about 2/3 cup
INGREDIENTS
2 1/2 tablespoons paprika
2 tablespoons salt
2 tablespoons garlic powder
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon dried leaf oregano
1 tablespoon dried thyme

Try the Peanut Shoppe Downtown or google Southern Shores Specialties,Blackened Seafood Seasoning. Hands down the best around. Use it on Chicken,Tuna and all manners of seafood. Spicy without being hot!
