We caught a blackfin Friday July 3rd. Had 4 lines go off but only boated one. This is the first blackfin I’ve ever seen caught (my buddy Joe was the angler). We split the fish into portions and I cooked mine on the 4th at a party. It was awesome! We ate some raw dipped in soy sauce which was excellent. Then I took some steaks, seasoned them, and seared them for about 45 seconds on each side on a hot iron skillet with a little olive oil. Fantastic! Very impressed. I want more…
