Blackfish Regulations.

Ok…correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the Blackfish season for waters up to 3 miles offshore (State waters) open year round for the catching and possession of Blackfish within federal legal limits (5 per-person, 13" TL)? Which means even in the dead of winter some of the Nearshore reefs would fall under this rule?

If you are talking about black sea bass you are correct. The legislature passed the law and the governor signed it in June 2013. year around fishery for black sea bass in state waters.
