Shrimped the south end today. Not a single shrimp. Didn’t seem like the other boats were doing that great either. I think a seagull laughed at us too, which hurt my feelings a little.
They can be heartless.
Much the same for us in south end Friday late and Saturday AM. Sat. PM on falling behind bull Island had to hunt for muddy water and then we found a million tiny ones. 2+ gal head off…pity the friend who took them and will peel for hours to get a meal. DNR said ours was typical experience, so the good catches were’nt the rule:frowning_face:
That makes me feel a little better. Hopefully things improve. It’s not the easiest place around to get to, so to get shut out is especially painful - much less the whole seagull insult thing.
