Bloody Bull- Monday

Left the dock at 6 ish for a little dolphin fun. Ended up putting in shy of the south west banks on an east/west weedline (pretty scattered). Immediately caught a dolphin on a plug and lost another one. It was little Harry’s (age 12) first dolphin so he was pretty excited. Pulled off a couple of wahoo and lost a few more dolphin, then worked offshore picking at the dolphin. Worked south and found that edge that the Sea Fix let everyone know about. worked it between 400-500’ and caught some more good dolphin. Ended up with a bunch of schoolies around the boat so we popped out the spinners and pitched cigar minnows. Lots of fun. 17 in the box (mostly gaffers), tagged 3 and released another 4 before I found my tags. Glad to get the next generation on the boat. He caught 4 or 5 including a nice 25# bull…all on standup tackle.

Nice work william. I finally got out on sunday to the ledge and it was a 2 man chinese circus with several doubles. we got 9 gaffer dolphin in box, 3 slingers released and 3 of the biggest ones got away at boat side due to a gaffer slump:face_with_head_bandage: by my 1 man crew.
