Hey Everyone, Well, I’m back in SC. Most of you who know that I have been in NC working most of the year (bummer). I came back in Oct, wanting to get my 35 hp motor worked on then start fishing. I hate bumming rides. I dropped mt boat off at “The Boat Doctor” on Hwy 378 the last week of Oct. He said he could get to it in a week or two (not a problem). Three weeks later, he said I’m backed up, one more week should do it. Then, the week after thanksgiving, called them, you guess it, backed up, but promised me next week he would look at it. Now, its been almost 7 weeks and he still hasnt even laid a hand on the motor. I just brought my boat home and put it back in the yard(not fixed). I have to leave again in Jan for NC, so it wouldnt be worth the effort to fix the motor. I cant imagine me letting this guy screw me this way. Apparently marine repair business in Lexington is booming. Thats what I get for trying to help the small business owner. Next time, someone else will get my business. Till then, if anyone needs a extra partner to fish, let me know.
