Nailed 11 Dolphin and one nice cooda on Sunday. Hot lures were light blue chuggers and green yellow seawitches. Hightlight of the day was a 22 lb Dolphin spotted our spread from way out. He came screaming in from the port side and trailed a green and yellow seawitch that was attached to a squid chain. After what seemed like minutes but probalby only seconds of watching him chase our bait, I decided to back down on the throttles a bit and give him a mouthfull. He swallowed the entire bait and most of the lure as well. It was a major surgery collecting that $3 seawitch . The dolphin did not survive the operation.

Glad to see that you are a quick learner. If Bigeasy had not shown you that âhead shotâ gaffing technique you may have lost that nice dolphin.

We took the old yellow cat out with a boat load of rookies.We still managed to catch a nice mix of doradoes, poor manâs wahoo,man eating shark,and atlantic bonita to be used for bait on the next offshore adventure.NOW THATâS A REPORT:smiley:
