Blue water promotions KMT

Just wanting to know if anyone from CF.com is fishing the blue water KMT this weekend out of little river?

Red X Anglers, If you dont know about us ask.

still looking at the wind forecast here.

green grass and high tides forever
jhp----- Murrells Inlet

I will be, weather or not…early registration…I saved $50 dollar but the prize list is based on 150 boats…only 50+ fished @ Sullivan’s and paid to only 5 places. Afraid the same will happen in MB.

we’ll be monitoring Ch.s 16 & 10

That is because Bluewater Promotions is a bunch of crooks. I believe the majority of the kingfishing fleet has caught on to their shenanigans and stayed away. Watch how many boats enter Miracles.

Kaja, we got in on the early entry also. Im just going to be a deck hand this time and leave mine at home. We will be on 72,16. I wish they would atleast pay the top 10 that is BS the way there running that. But im lucky and dont have a ton of money rapped up in it. Hope to mabe see yeah at the Capt. and crew meeting friday.

Heard this very comment from folks from Georgetown yesterday. From the way they were talking expect even lower turnout next year, and this is coming from some of the top dogs in the div. Hope SKA reviews this…because I will probably not fish the touneys if Div. 3 falls apart. It is expensive enough whithout adding extra travel costs.

The SKA has been falling apart

But I do know where a 50lb kingfish was caught a few weeks ago, but I did a super secret slimy hand shake and swore on my unborn children I wouldnt share no matter what. Just kidding straight of MI 75 ft of water

If the comedy channel on your XM goes out switch your VHF to 68.

I know where that one was caught. It was a 56, Thank you for not telling exactly where. There was a 40lber there with the other one. Hope all you boys to well. We will be fishing on the storm catcher.

I hope that everyone how fished this can argee with me, It was a ruff fish day. Little bait, little kings and not such a fun day to start out with. 3-4ft but it laid down nice once we got out there. Over all it wasnt a total loss. We are the 12th place finish. I think that if we didnt have some equipment failure yesterday it would have been alot differnt for us. Our left outrigger went screaming and before we could grab the rod BING the line looked like cotton. We thought it was the afco roller clip that messed up so we didnt check the other things it could have been. Just as soon as we got it back out it went down again. This time we got the pig to the boat (20-23lb fish) and noticed the line was getting torn up by a chip on one of the eyes from the rod. We couldnt get the steel in him before he made another run and SNAP. 2-3 runs we had came from the north end of jungle area.

I saw how many weighed in but do you know how many fished it total. i agree this was a hard day. yesterday was the hardest we have fished in a long time and still came up without a king. We had a well full of med/large pogies and big mullet, and the only thing we landed was a couple of spanish and a nice cobia.

I heard rumblings from attendees of the Capt.'s meeting friday about paying for beer and food. Guess we all got spoiled at Tailwalker, open bar and food and with a $250 entry they still were able to put on a great party(s)and paid 20 places. Maybe thats why they got more boats than Sullivan’s & Mb combined. Meanwhile at Sullivan’s, GREAT FOOD, and free beer…but a captains meeting that went on for way too long. MB too!!

Kaja, I agree 100% if a capt.s meeting goes on long enough for me to be on the tippsy side of things from the non-free beer then its time to rap it up. There was 57boats altogether. BLUEDAWG we heard about your cobia over the radio. Where did you pick him up at? what did he Weigh?

Red X Anglers, If you dont know about us ask.

We were a little east of belkie bear. We were all too tired to care how much it weighed and the only pics I have are on my blackberry. If i can figure it out ill put em up. We saw him come straight up and inhale the mullet, and then he came straight to the boat. Didnt fight a bit…till I stuck it with the gaff! Got it over the rail and it jumped off the gaff. Wish i could have been around us to see three grown men standing on the bow running from this fish and the two treble hooks it was flailing around.
