Bluefin in NC Feb. 4 & 5

I am joining a charter already booked for Monday and Tuesday Feb. 4-5 in Oregon Inlet. The charter is being run by Saltywater Tackle in Brooklyn and they consistently get the first fish of the year up there. Sami, one of the owners, is one of the best jig/pop fisherman around. I have taken 2 spots so that I can have a rider from here. The trip will be $360 per day plus tip, hotel, food, etc… So total cost about $1000.

I am offering the second spot for anyone who would like to experience this fishery with some of the best folks in the business. You will be responsible for your own tackle or you could possible line something up with Saltywater Tackle for loan/rent. You will NOT be borrowing my gear.

There are a few open spots as of now if more than one person is interested. Pickup and dropoff can be arranged anywhere between Hilton Head and HWY. 64 in NC.

Post up if interested.

update: I just checked the route/time to myrtle bch. doesn’t look do able. Next time.

Gear Update: Having the right gear is essential to successs in this fishery. Sami at Saltywater has outfitted the Sea Breeze with a full arsenal of their custom rods. No need to scramble for a 20K Stella. Just need a few jigs and plugs. I can certainly help with that.
