With Jazz’s recent triumphant return from Virginia with a cooler full of BFT steaks, it was only fitting that Lynn and myself help him dispose of it. We hosted a small gathering of our families and grilled some of Ronnie’s tuna and fried up a sample of Lynn’s cobia. To complete the feast we had roasted red and sweet potatoes, home grown tomatoes drizzled with EVOO, goat cheese and basil, nuked asparagus, pole beans and a glass or two of merlot:
Yes, thank you Bill and Lois for hosting again, and for the awesome cooking as usual!
And thank you, Ronnie, for providing the main course!!
Ronnie, we just finished up some grouper, and it was GREAT!!

Nice grill - Holland, no? What is the little drawer thing on the right front of the grill with the white knob? I have an old school Holland. Love that thing.
I was wondering if it was a wood chip tray. Nice! I do roasted corn, baked potatoes, kabobs, ribs and of course fish & chicken on mine. It was a mess when I got it. I bought a new drip pan ($75 well spent) and had to cut a piece of metal for the rusted out bottom. Cleaned and bolted it all back together. It works like new. Good job guys.
Cooks the best meat loaf you ever put in your mouth, all of the grease runs out in the drip pan. Just the right amount of smoke. Leave it on for an hour, perfect. Wife does it all the time with no assistance! I think our Holland is about 11 years young!
