Blue'phoria DEEP 5/7

Fished in the 700’s today. Dumped lines in 400’. Trolled out into the deep picking at the dolphin along the way. In 650’ we released a nice sail. Made a few laps looking for another stick to no avail. We continued pushing offshore looking for that pretty edge. Founnd it in 1500’. All ripped up,77 dgr, skippies busting everywhere and plenty of weed starting to stack up. Pushed out to 1800’and picked up 7 more dolphin and another shot at a sail along the way. Just couldn’t get a hook in him. Trolled back to the ledge looking for a wahoo bite that didn’t happen’
Beautiful day to be out dragg’n baits!

Catch’m up!

Good Job Monty and crew, we did about the same with the dolphin, lost a hoo and a bill of sorts. Had a real good 3 O clock bite and then stop, started pulling yuzi’s just to mix up a little and got slamed a few times but lost our biggest meat fish at the end of the day. All in all it was a great day on the water. Looking forward to seeing your boat out there again soon.
