This sucker made the mistake of rooting in my yard couple weeks ago. As soon as turkey season was over I picked up a bag of corn and set up the camera at the back of my property. This guy came every evening until last Sunday. Set up a climber and waited for the north wind. He came right around 7:45pm. I put a bullet right behind his ear. First hog I’ve been able to get a shot at in a few years. They come and go through the swamp occasionally. I’d guess he’s around 200lbs, possibly more. He was not easy to move.
I feel that this pig may be a stoner with that red dye in it’s hair…stone cold!!! Hope you had a portable A/C unit in the climber with you seeing that you had a workout already planned out for the daily drag! Great shot and nothing is finer than busting heads in Carolina!

Frac - what kind of rifle you shooting there? I got a Mod1500 .270 S&W that looks just like. Howa made them for S&W and Mossburg and I think some of the lower grade Weatherbees. It is a sweet shooter. Good job on porky!
