Gonna be taking the boat out of dry stack storage since i cant justify the cost for as little as i use the boat. Wanting to get some recommendations on boat and trailer storage options in charleston. Specifically west ashley, james island, folly beach area and maybe mt pleasant.
Wanting to keep the cost down as low as possible. Lets hear some options. Thanks.
I keep mine at Carolina Boatyard on Hwy 41. They remodeled last year. It has a nice setup, well lit, security fences/cameras, a wash-down area and an ice club. Call Tracy Kerr, she is a great lady to deal with. 843-971-1812

i’ll second justretired. kept my boat there for about a year and was very happy. the ONLY downside is that there is no onsite water for a washdown, so you have to take care of that before you park the boat. otherwise, it was perfect for me.
Plus, good, central point to a lot of ramps.
Thanks for the ■■■■■■■■ fellas. I have a reservation for public storage on JI. Not having onsite water is a bummer but the location seems to be good. I don’t mind taking the boat to a wash place, but not sure what to do about flushing the motor. Do any of you all know if any of the wash places on JI have a hose to hook up to to flush the motor. Does the bluewater car wash place by chick-fil-a have one or anywhere on the island? Thanks.
