I was standing in my yard today and for about an hour every type of emergency vehicle in Charleston County’s arsenal passed by one after the other. Eventually, I quit waxing my boat and went to get online and find out why. I was saddened to hear that a boat had overturned off of Folly. I was afraid that it was a boating accident as there were several rescue boats in the fleet of lighted vehicles that passed by. Also, the water has been pretty rough latly. Later on this evening I found out that one man had lost his life. Everyone, please pray for the ones close the deceased man. As boat season kicks into full gear, be sure to boat/fish w an abundance of caution.
