Time to replace my boat cover. I purchased it in the Spring of 2008 from T Top Boat Covers. Love the cover and ease of use, just a little disappointed in the material only lasting 5 years before rotting and tearing. I was under the impression that they recorded a pattern when they made it so it could be reproduced at a lesser expense, but it appears that did not happen. This cover ended up costing me around $240/year. Not sure if that is good, bad or normal.
I understand the ones they have now are a better material that has a longer warranty, 5 years, and will probably last 7 to 8 years, if not longer.
The boat is a 2001 Proline, 26 Sport. I would think someone out there has a pattern for that boat. May have to look around in Florida where they used to make the Prolines.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts and recommendations.

Last year I bought a boat cover from them made by Carver Boat Cover, with the Sumbrella fabric, and went back this year and bought a bimini top also; very satisfied with both; high quality covers, good fit, fair price and great customer service.

Ditto on Covers Direct. Not sure what your cover was made of but, I would expect a quality cover to last more than 5 years. I have a Sunbrella cover that is 10 year sold and other than being faded, is in pretty good shape.

Do you still have the original cover? If so I know a local guy that would be able to use the original as a pattern provided it not totally destroyed. He did mine from scratch (23’ Mako) and I have been very happy going on four years.
x2 on Carver. I’ve had one for my Whaler going on 4-years with no issues.
Local SC company out of Landrum.
They have a list of retailers on their site, one of which is Covers Direct, mentioned above.

I have a top boat cover for a 24 edgewater that covered the bow pulpit and twin outboards that I don’t use. Welcome to see if it fits and save some cash
