Where is the best place to buy a boat cover in Mt. P / Charleston area? 20’ Pioneer CC with T-top. Don’t want to pay a lot more just to have “the best”, but do want reasonable quality. Some years back got one from place near Ashley and I-526, and it was okay.
Any suggestions as to specs or details to get?
Thanks

OM - LaPorte’s made a cover for my boat with a T-Top several years back. He used to be next to Old Duncan’s off Bridgeview by Leeds Ave boat landing. Has held up very well and price was within budget.

We are not in Charleston, but we are in SC. Our covers are made here as well, in Landrum, which is in the Upstate area. We can offer you an affordable option for covering the entire boat with T Top. Here is a link so you can view these covers on our website:
Maybe the cover that goes over T-top would be good idea? As I recall, part of the hassle was attaching cover to underside of top, while standing in boat. Please comment if you’ve used one of these.
Landrum is no problem since I live in Greenville. Jessica, do you have pattern for Pioneer 197 SF?
Will consider other options too. Thanks for replies.

Something to think about. Do you store your boat on a trailer or boat lift. I had a cover that worked great on the trailer but would not work on the lift (couldn’t tie the cover to the outside of the lift without getting in the water). T top covers made one with a draw string around the bottom that works fine.
Ever thought of a metal carport shed. I had cover for my pontoon but it finally tore so replaced it with shed. Love it. No hassle just back under unhook and done. Assuming you keep it on a trailer.
Question for Jessica…In the picture you posted, the boat has a 8’ antenna sticking through the cover. Do all your covers come with a slit or something to run the antenna through? Is that a common feature or something that has to be requested.
This cover is custom for that year make and model. It is also made to go up and over the T Top. It wont have any zippers though, and the motor pocket will be included, but not attached to the cover.

The styled to fit covers we offer for the boats with hard tops/t tops will all come with that velcro slot at the back of the T Top area, to allow antennas to exit. Here is a link to those covers on our site:
We recommend using 303 Fabric Cleaner for cleaning purposes, and 303 Fabric Guard for restoring water repellency. We offer both of these items if you have interest in them. You can call us at 1-866-626-8377. I will be happy to help you!
