Boat US is very competetive, almost $200 cheaper than most everyone else. Who do you use? I know they cover damage from named storms, Geico did not and a couple of others did not. One thing about Boat US is the max liability they write is $500,000 and I like to carry at least $1m.

I had my policy with Geico’s subsidiary,Sea Safe. I called GotchaCovered and asked him to look over my policy and see what he could do. End result, he cut my policy premium almost in half, increased the coverage, and went from no coverage on named storms to coverage on storms. Needless to say, I was very happy!! He gets my vote.

I use Strickland Marine insurance–He saved me half vs. State Farm, and gave better coverage.
Business is local and family owned by boaters who know boats. Nice guys too.
I pay Stickland… never had to use them thank God but I hear they are very easy to work with. They were recommended to me when I purchased my boat. Maybe you should PM Lee. Plus im a big fan of Lee’s politics.
