got the Edisto Marina ramp at 5:00 Fri. morning, at the same time we are pulling up to back in, another group was already backing down, just as they get to the ramp they stop and start loading the boat, these “guys” took a good 10- 15 minutes to load there gear while we a sitting there waiting, as “most” of us know, the bite is early this time of year, we figured we lost 20-30 waiting for these guys, this is probably the most discouteous conduct one can have at a ramp,… please load your boat somewhere other than the top of the ramp!!!,
I agree with Striper…If you are ready, there should be no reason why you have to wait on someonw who is unprepaired…Ask them to pull back out and then load…It can’t hurt.
if you are not familiar with the Ediso Marina ramp, it is a sharp S turn to get in there and there is only one way in and long way to park, there is only room for one boat at time,
Sorry for the whining, we just lost a lot of good fishing time to these guys, just venting some
when i’m at the ramp, (and those that know me will verify) if people are doing dumb things that people do, i will go and try to help, teach, lend a hand, instruct, free advice, whatever. it sure beats standing there and just getting p.o.'ed
I know the feeling. Sunday I fished inshore alone and had no problems putting the boat in, I let people around me know that I was putting in by myself and it would be just a minute to put boat in, tie up, then move truck. I did it as fast a safely possible, no problems. Later that afternoon around 6:30pm as always there is a line of boats waiting. Once again I let everyone waiting that I have to dock boat and tie it up to go get the truck. I even let a few boats ahead because they were just dropping people off. All of a sudden the crackhead comes hauling ass in on a small cat names “short bus”. He is cussing and screaming about everyone taking too long. He runs his boat up to the dock, slams it in reverse, so not to run up on the dock and drops his buddy off. The whole time he is cussing myself and other boaters. He calls one lady a *unt with her young daughter sitting right beside her. Now instead of just me being pissed off he has about 6 guys and a pissed off mom. He was obviously drunk and was lucky not to kill some people. Once the boat was on the trailer and out of the water he was smart not to get off, he kept on with the cussing and finger but wouldn’t step down. They haul ass and make the turn onto coleman as 4 police cars come piling into the lot. Apparently someone called 911 and said someone was about to get his ass kicked. They took all our info, and cut out looking for the guy. Not sure if they ever found him but I’m sure a lot of ya’ll know the boat. Watch out for him.
Wow! This short bus guy is getting drilled on here! I put in last sat. right before him at Shem Creek and had no problems. Of course it was to early to be drinking!
I hate when people wont turn their headlights off on the ramp when loading or unloading the boat in the dark. It is rough trying to back down the ramp when you have headlights in your side mirrors that you look at to back the boat in the water.
Do people think they need their headlights on to see where they are going in reverse??? Buncha dumbasses

Do you guys accept Casino Cash???
A lot of trucks today have those fancy “automatic” lights. Yes, you can turn that feature off, but these are same people that are loading the boat in front of the ramp. You shouldn’t expect so much from them.
I agree 23Sailfish expecting so much out of so little just doesnt work out. If you cant load your boat and back it in the water within three minutes you are taking too long.
When I take the john boat out I can have it loaded, straps off the trailer and seats in before most people get out the their vehicles.
