boat landings? not a report

Well guys, I finally got my boat up. I’m in all hopes of atleast running it this weekend. Eptings camp is the closest landing to the house, not too much further is the one on Wessinger. My boat is a 22’ cc. What landing would yall reccomend? Any thoughts arr greatly appreciated. I tried doing a search with no results.

As Tom said either landing is good to go…and to top it off you are literally less than a minute from biting fish this time of yr from each landing. A BIG fish was caught very close to one of these landings in the past week. But don’t want to say which one due to the “fishing spot/honey hole” police that we now have on this site… but if you venture into other forums and site you already know where this fish was caught. …hehehe

Good deal, with a little searching I found my last post, where there was plenty of good information. Just bought the youngest a starter fishing rod and reel, Zebco 33. She is 6 and has been practicing casting and reeling in allweek, so maybe, just maybe she and I can manage to wet a line together. Excited to get out for the first time.

Or, you could just call Joe at Epting’s, 873-3469. He has herring also.

Chip, don’t ever let anyone stop you from posting valuable information if you choose to. The lurkers and trollers normally move on after they stir up a little crap and figure out that this forum is more about being friendly than fighting. I know you were kidding and without a doubt have always been one of the more prolific information sharers either personally or publicly. We appreciate it. Tight lines…

Thanks for the number Rick, we ended up having family come to visit, so the boat didn’t get to make it out. I did get the chance to install some of those awesome looking underwater transom lights. Probably the last thing I needed, but got a deal on them from a friend, that I couldnt pass up. Always scares me drilling holes ina perfectly good boat. But the fear is alot less after installing a thru hull ducer last summer.
