I recently had a boat built in Florida and it will be delivered today. I’ll have the manufactures MSO number and bill of sale. I’ve been told thats all I’ll need in SC to get a new title. Anyone have any experience with this? I was also told just a bill of sale and photo of the serial number for the outboard is all that was required.
Thanks

You should be ok with what you have. They are actually pretty helpful here at Ft. Johnson. Make sure you have a pic of the HIN as well. Outboards are pretty strait forward. Pic of s/n with model number and your bill of sale.

Thanks for the info!
You should be good. Bought my boat in FL also, and like MattR said the lady at DNR was very helpful - I forgot to bring a rubbing/picture of the outboard serial # and she let me call my wife and have her email a picture while we waited. Probably one of the best vehicle registration experiences I have had, except for the hole in my wallet…
Awesome, good to know. The girl I talked to today was very nice and informative, I was just worried about getting there an being surprised about some information needed that I didn’t have.
