So where does everybody hang out on the water in the Charleston area? Looking for some good areas to hang out on weekends when I don’t have lines in the water. Anybody got any good places where a few boats hang out thats safe to park in regards to tides and currents? I’ve heard Price Inlet is pretty good and theres the area close to Fort Sumter around Morris Island where I’ve seen some boats. ■■■■■■■■ much appreciated.
try visiting the ‘redneck riveria’ over by the Limehouse landing?.always crowded with boats and people standing knee deep in water! So many boats in fact, it makes using the landing a nightmare late in the afternoon on summer weekends!
At low tide on the Ashley, there is a popular sandbar just upstream from the 526 bridge.

Morris island is one of the more popular places (that’s good and bad I suppose), capers island always has a big crowd, north end of dewees is typically less crowded, Daniel island on the wando at low tide is a decent hangout, upper wando past 41 bridge across from dunes west is “cat island”, fun crowds there on eves and weekends…those are the more popular ones that come to mind.

I think the question people forgot to ask you is, “Are you one of those dudes who brings a sausage party to the beach who wants to tie up with dudes who actually bring chicks to the beach, or are you actually going to bring chicks with you in a ratio that is favorable to heterosexual males?” If you answer the former, you should either jump off a bridge with no helmet, or you should check out Lake Murray…

While i appreciate you offering me to jump off a bridge on my first post ever. I’ll have to respectfully decline while also telling you i plan on bringing a 50/50 ratio to the party. Thanks for your oh so thoughtful input though skinnej.
Actually i really dont care just thought it was odd for you to tell somebody to jump off a bridge on their first post. I actually laughed at your comment but i do not plan on bringing a boatful of dudes while you bring all the hot women.

Also, 50/50 is for beginners… I prefer about a minimum of about a 5:1 ratio… Pro tip…

Yea and boats are chic magnets. Should have no problem getting that ratio around these parts:smiley: In college We used to load down this 34 fountian w chics in and go grouper fishin. My friends uncle, who owned the bote, offered to take us fishing all the time. He would say," hell yea you can come and bring a bunch of those girls too, there nice to look at and we can keep more fish."
