Only thing worse then not catching fish over the Thanksgiving Holiday is having a broken boat:angry:. Last night I walked the back of the boat and noticed a very small (gear oil) leak from the top of lower unit. I assume there is a seal on the top of the foot that must be leaking.
Anyone have any other good ideas before I start taking it apart? Or a good location to get my parts:question: I have been told my boat shop in Summerville has closed.

I just got off the phone with a boat mechanic who asked a few questions like ā¦Has it been sitting up for a while // Nope ā¦ā¦and Have you been idling around allot lately // yep! About 3 hour Saturday night.
He said itās not a lower unit problem it more of an exhaust thing that is perfectly normal. I feel like an idiot but the good news is Iām going fishing.
I donāt see a fishing report from last night what happen?
