I was reading the North Charleston lawsuit filed today and attached was a copy of the Memorandum of Understanding between N. Charleston and the SPA. It included this:
“The SPA agrees to lease to The City at the charge of $1.00 per year on a triple net basis and other mutually agreeable terms a 125-foot wide parcel of land measuring approximately 3.0 acres to be located adjacent to the current marina at the southern end of the Property to be used for a boat landing for the purpose of providing public access to the Cooper River. The City shall be responsible to obtain all required permits for the construction of and maintenance of said boat landing.”
Anyone have any info on this? Is there a ramp in the works?
