Boat ramp / hotel suggestions

Hi all,

I’m an out of towner looking to go offshore next week. I was thinking about using Remley,s . What hotel / motel do you guys suggest? My truck and trailer together are around 55’. Close proximity to a boat ramp that is close to the Harbor is top priority. Assuming my rig will fit in the parking lot.

Also, I’m not married to Remleys. It just looked good on the map.

Thanks in advance!

Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina is hard to beat, although a little pricey. They will launch it with a forklift, not sure if they have a ramp.

Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina doesn’t launch by forklift or have a ramp.

La Quinta next to Ripley Light has parking for your rig and is affordable.

Wappoo Landing is only a few miles from there and accesses the harbor easily.

I’d just use the Holiday Inn in Mt. Pleasant and use Remley’s. They are close together and Remely’s could handle your boat.

Sorry for the misinformation. I could have swore I saw a forklift last time I was there. I arrived by boat though, didn’t pay a lot of attention.

Thanks for the info. I’ll see you guys out there Thursday!

One piece of advise, make RESERVATIONS!
They all tend to be booked this time of the year .

Remleys point is the most user friendly ramp around imo… plenty of room and water for bigger boats and once your in the water you can follow the buoys to help navigate
