Does anyone use the boat ramp at the end of State Road 1170 off of Seewee Road? Is it public? What is the condition of the ramp and how much water is there at low tide? Thanks.
Is public. Closes with a locked gate in the evening. Don’t remember what time. Very shallow at low tide. A flats boat could get in/out at dead low. Larger than that, you need to time your coming and going or the tide will time them for you. Generally, good parking.

good ramp, shallow at low tide however. No dock to tie off to, nose up to ramp to let people out/get car. Opens at 6am and closes at 8 I believe? Garris Landing is the name. Part of Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge
