Boat Ramp Parking

What’s a good time to arrive at the boat landing on a Saturday if you want a parking spot? My son is sailing in the Charleston Yacht Club regatta this weekend, and I want to watch from the boat. Wappoo is the closest. Leeds would be the next best. I also have a friend in Riverland Terrace who might let me park in his yard if I use the landing there.

I promise I’ll do a little fishing just so I’m not wasting the parking spot on frivolous activities.

Thanks,
Vic

After 10 am. You wouldn’t want to get caught in morning boat traffic.

going to watch your son do what he enjoys, is by no means frivolous

When you see “Old Glory” waving in the breeze, know that it is the dying breaths of our fallen hero’s that makes it wave.

Ended up at Wappoo between 9-10. There were a few parking spaces left. I think the heat was keeping people away. I’ve never been more motivated to purchase a Bimini top if anyone is selling one that is 6’ wide :-). The sailing was EPIC.
