Boat Rental - IOP

Anybody have any recommendations for boat rental out of IOP? I told my buddy from Charlotte to call the marina for pricing. $475 per day for a 24’CC? That’s ridiculous…if he was correct. Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Try Toler’s Marina 881-0325.They are on the causeway to Sullivan’s Is at the ICW.Not far from IOP and have a few they rent out.

maybe is was $4.75 per foot per day. That is still high in my book. Tolers can probably help you out.

What do you guys think is a fair price for a boat rental for the day? Just curious, since you claim the other price is ridiculous.

$4.75/ft would definitely be reasonable. I think $125/day is a reasonable price. I’m going to give my buddy my boat for the week. he’s replacing the CD player in trade. I think that’s a very reasonable deal.

$15 per hour? And you call their prices rediculous…

475 sounds about like what I would expect. Probably a 30k+ boat, plus wear and tear.

costs me 200 just to get my 19 foot boat to the beach and back – plus the payment, the boat gas, maintenance, taxes, insurance – maybe i need to sell it and just rent – that 475 is looking better and better!

owned by trailer bearings…

I wouldn’t rent my boat to a total stranger/potential yahoo for $500 a day. If I know the person well enough to let them use it than I would just let them use it for free.
