Fishing is a delusion entirely surrounded by liars in pfgs and buffs.
Haha thats hilarious!
Three-fourths of the Earth’s surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.
At extreme high tides, that island disappears under water. Especially at night, unless you are navigating by gps, it could happen to anybody. Just sayin.
Now, going that fast at night without navigating by gps, that is another story…Probably some brown kool-aids involved…

Wonder what SEA TOW and BOATUS would deem that? A soft or a hard grounding? Any bets, on if alcohol was involved?
It happened a couple years ago. I remember seeing the boat sitting high and dry in marsh. It must of been one heck of a ride, especially when it that shell bank.

Like Optiker said, probably happened at a very high tide at night and he was probably just cruising, realized he was hitting bottom and tried to just get out of there until he ran too far aground. I can see how that would happen to someone not experienced at night boating, alcohol involved or not.
Looks like they might have been marsh hen hunting!
