When I was young, I remember my grandfather calling those types of shoes (not just the Chuck’s) “fish heads.” No idea where it came from though.

Barefoot. I like to get a good grip on the deck with my toenails.

Drainmakers from Columbia. I actually wear them to places like Carowinds, Disney, etc. I consider them anywhere that I might have a long day and feet might get wet that boots aren’t reasonable.

I have one of the first drainmakers they made and they are going strong. Super comfortable too.

bought a pr. of boat shoes by Crock today at Academy. Never seen before, very comfortable with white no marking soles, wont slip on wet smooth glass,think they are gon’a work out well. Let ya’ll know after a few trips. Mdaddy, I quit going barefoot when I lost a toe on a bracket for the horn, slipped in rough water in the dark and there she wrote!
