Boat Shoe?

What’s everyone’s favorite shoe to wear on the boat?

Olukai flops are my go to.

If I ever go on a charter that doesn’t allow flops, I have some Under Armour “fishing shoes” (Drainsters) that I’ll wear.

No matter how much it hurts, how dark it gets, or how far you fall…you are never out of the fight.

I have buddies who wear the Columbia PFG shoe (Drainmaker/Megavent) and love them. I have the Sperry Shock Light ASV Bungee and like them. The Columbia shoes seem to have more support and a thicker foot bed. ASVs are more like true water shoes. Both of them drain really well.

Olukai Kaku. If you want a shoe the Columbia’s and UA’s are very comfortable.

I personally wear Xtratuff ankle boots, they walk well on slick surfaces, but definitely dont drain well, or at all.

Look at where Jesus went to pick people. He didn’t go to the colleges; he got guys off the fishing docks.

Olukai gets my vote for flops

I wear my Olukai flops, but would like some more support for those rough days offshore…I’ve seen the Columbia ones and the UA ones…guess I’ll go try one of those.

if a had to pick one, I’d pick the left one, don’t know why the left, but if I can only pick one boat shoe . . .

you choose the left pack of twix too, dont you…

The Columbia shoes are nice, retail about $100, if you shop around you can find a deal every now and again. Great traction and comfortable to wear. I did just purchase these flops from West Marine to try out, they appear to have the same sole as the Megavent.

Nordstrom rack has these on sale but I can’t do the color. Size 7 and 11 only still available

Down here is where a signature goes but they can confuse and anger some people so I don’t have one.

The Drainmaker shoe says it’s for hiking…I’m guessing it works fine in the boat? I like the look better than the megavent.

That’s so weird…their site shows a picture of the shoe on a boat and mentions NOTHING about trails or hiking.

EVERY listing I can find on Amazon calls them a “trail shoe” or a “water shoe.”

Nah, typical one. Got a vacation coming up with a week of all day fishing…need some shoes. To be honest getting you all’s opinions in one day on here is easier and more accurate for me and our waters and conditions than it is to spend hours researching and reading reviews…make sense?

I don’t believe a word I read on here. Except for the white braid stuff
