If there was a universal speaker cover, would you use it if it extended the life of your speakers by several years?
Anything that would seal the water out would seal most of the sound in as well…in which case you may as well mount them inside your console or such and obtain a simalar effect…you can find a nice pair of JBL or Kicker marine speakers that are made of materials that stand up well to sun and water for $60+ on up and get several years out of em anyway and actually mount them where you can get some sound out of em

I gotcha…like a slip on cover for your GPS…not a bad idea

I’ve never seen one, but it’s a great idea. Not sure there is a universal size though and every manufacturer would have to make unique snap on cover to fit. But that’s what the VHF and GPS makers do. I suspect they don’t because they’d rather sell you new speakers every few years.

I would settle for a speaker that wouldn’t get cracked when “Fish on” happens.
Yeti solved my cooler problem, but my crew is hard on gear. Maybe yeti could make speakers…?
