First, I’m looking for a boat, and 2nd, before I buy the boat, I need a place to park it. Thinking about a 20 footer. Can anyone suggest a decent place for a decent price near Hanahan?

Why not buy an 18 or 19’ boat and put it in your garage? You’ll use it a lot more if its at home (loaded with your gear).

I agree. I am wanting to upgrade my 17’ but I will not buy anything unless it fits in my garage. So that puts me at a full 19’ range. I would not use my boat near as much if I had to hassle with going to pick it up and offload/load all of my gear each time. It is nice to fish all day, pull into the house after dark, and just back the dirty loaded boat in the garage, shut the door and go to bed.

Pretyyeasy - you can just cut it off, drill and install the Fulton folding togue hinge
or
cut if off and add a longer section (I added galv 4x4 x 4’ from Fields Ornamental Iron for the McKee) so its both longer (easier backing and lower in water without getting truck wet) AND shorter (to fit in garage)!

There’s no room in my garage. My son is in the Navy, currently deployed and I’ve got his Motorcycle along with other stuff I’m not willing to put outside. Besides, if the boat has a T-Top or even a CC w/a grab rail, it wouldn’t fit inside the garage anyway, because it would be too tall. Thanks for the suggestion, but do you have any others, and not I can’t store it in the yard…no fence and HOA regs will not allow a boat to stay in the driveway.

Our T-Topless would let you lower the T-Top to fit in the garage, but you don’t have room. Does you HOA require a fence/gate to store in back yard? A T-Topless and standard boat cover would work then, otherwise you’re looking at a storage yard - $200-$400/month.
