anyone have a travel time by boat down the ICW from say chas harbor or remleys to hilton head island shelter cove area? Disney Development dock??
I have done harbor to beaufort for the water festival 50 years ago in a wooded renken with a 40 hp johnson, but have no clue where you turn off the icw to get to hilton head or how long that takes.
would be in a 20 ft outboard and can’t be wide open the whole way as you have to be on the lookout, other boats etc so assume what speed? 25 MPH? 30 mph
any one done it? A relative is tilling me 1 1/2 hours which I think is way too low.

The ICW follows the entire inshore side of HHI. You don’t have to turn.
I’ve done it several times, Charleston to Savannah is a very easy day trip. I would plan on 4 hours tops to Palmetto Dunes from Charleston. That’s if you really take your time.
