I’ve found that in order to add greese to your hubs in cold weather you have to pull the trailer around the block a few times to warm it up! I say to myself when i’m on my way fishing I will do it at the ramp and then forget every time.
There are several types of grease packer tools that help with getting grease into the bearings. The picture one types are relatively cheap & seem to work well for shade tree mechanics. I like the blue synthetic grease that claims it’s waterproof/marine
