Down here is where a signature goes but they can confuse and anger some people so I don’t have one.
What is that structure that he ran into? Seems like the Coasties or the Corps of Engineers would have removed it as it is a rather obvious hazard to navigation.

If he is between drum island and Charleston I believe it is part of the old cooper river bridge. That piece is really close to the grass there. Don’t know why they left it there other than fish habitat.
Added another pic, looks to be at Drum Island.

Dixie Craft-custom flats boat
Old piece of dock or part of sunken barge , ect. Aren’t those

Talking about stuff in water , anyone know what that image seen on GE

When you see “Old Glory” waving in the breeze, know that it is the dying breaths of our fallen hero’s that makes it wave.

We can fix that

When your looking for the fishing spot and it finds you.
Never seen an air bag deploy in a boat! Lucky they center it so the boat didn’t tip. I’m sure it must have been a sudden stop!
I know the guy. Super nice guy and one hell of a seaman and fisherman. A top quality guide.
Word I’m getting is that it is an old sunken barge between Drum Island and that marina on Charleston. No one was hurt, he was fishing and tide stranded the boat on top of the old barge. I don’t know if he knew the barge was there or not. I’ve been through there and didn’t know that was there.
Years ago I had a boat claim where a guy said he hit something in that area which damaged his transom. He had to have hit that thing. It needs to be gone or marked!

Looks like air bag on both sides. Gotta be trying to keep top of motor above the water.

Fritz, some people may call that Karma.
I thought that boat looked familiar…Karma.

how does the tide trap you on that thing? Wouldn’t you hear the hull banging on it while the boat was still afloat?
