Hi all,
Looking to get a new windshield made for my boat, stopped by my local glass shop and the guy doesn’t do them anymore (says they weren’t worth the trouble and he didn’t make enough money). He had no suggestions on who else does them. Anyone here know a shop or someone who does custom windshields they were happy with?

George, have you tried getting one from the boat manufacturer?
Unfortunately I need it custom because my console has new door for access in the front (where the original windshield covered) and I’m looking to make the windshield taller than normal.

You can go the custom aluminum frame with flat glass from american marine inc. If you break a panel it is easily replaced locally

There is a guy that lives in Mt Pleasant in the old village behind Moultrie Middle School that did my windshield. Not the cheapest, but he did a nice job and will build whatever you want. He is the one who always advertises on craigslist I think.
