I’ve seen people Fly Fishing from: Kayak’s, Canoes,John Boats, banks and in the water with waders. What do you suggest? I 've never tried fly fishing in the ocean. I have only Fly Fished in NC mountain streams with waders. I now have the opportunity to try Fly Fishing in the Little and Big Pee Dee Rivers. Suggestions will be welcome.
Thanks:smiley:
My advice would be to only buy breathable waders. Not neoprene or non-breathable nylon. The neoprene can be warm but may end up clammy inside. If really cold you can wear fleece pants and/or other wickable long johns under the breathable waders and be as warm as possible. For wading in mountain streams where there is strong current, slippery rocks or you will hike a long way, I recommend boot-foot waders and separate wading boots. For surf fishing or wading ponds that may be mucky then I recommend boot foot. They are much easier to wash off the sand or muck than wading boots.
I plan on living forever, so far so good
