boats colors

ok- new skiff being built and im hung on the color, and wanted some opinions. Would a light blue hull color allow me to get closer to spookier or ‘fished over’ fish? I am leaning towards doing the whole thing this color since it would take a load off the ol eyeballs (on deck). but i started thinking about hull colors initially in spartina and grassy colors, but it seems to me this would be a big shadow to those close up fish. so a light sky blue seems to be where im headin…or classic white. please help with opinions!!! My wife said ive been talking in my sleep for the past 3 nights…what color should i paint the $#%^in boat??? (the builder gave me way too many options “go to lowes or HD i’ll do it anycolor you want” thanks dude, not helping.

ordered my micro in “mocha”, so its gonna be harder for other anglers to see me. the fish seem to see the guy on the platform before they see the hull.

Newman

I saw an older BC hull in all pink the other day.

Which skiff is it?

Trust me, while your pinned down taking enemy fire and you call in for air support and you hear a jets afterburner crackin the air overhead would be the most liberating sound you could ever ask for. I haven’t experienced that first hand in actual combat, but I have trained in a similar scenario where it still makes the hair stand up on your body.

nice…

I saw a big Contender a while back in wasabi green and I decided that would be my color of choice if I ever buy a new boat. Not sure about how much fish can see it in skinny water, but it sure looked good to me!

You’ll have more secret places to fish if you pick a color that guide scouts can’t see. My next boat will be “Spartina Shadowgrass”.

If you’re close enough for the fish to see your hull, it doesn’t matter what color it is.
