I am looking at using BoatUS for insurance for my bay boat and saw the towing option on the quote page. I live in the upstate and my boat stays at my house but most of my fishing is done on lake Murray and Charleston. I can’t seem to find on their website which towing coverage package this would be and what all it would cover. Does anyone else use them for insurance and know more about this?

Don’t think it’s a package! It’s just towing insurance! You pay a fixed rate and when you brake down you call them and they send someone to get you!
I’ve used Boatus for years and couldn’t be happier. I too am upstate
and trailer wherever i fish, both salt and fresh. I purchase the unlimited Gold Package , which is approx $180.00 yr…unlimited trailer assist and on the water tow and assist… Never had any disappointments!!!PM if you have specific questions!!!

Their insurance rates are outrageously high, you can do a lot better somewhere else. I do have their towing though. For around $150 per year, coveres my boat, trailer and tow vehicle.
