Back in the day I had a 25 evinrude that the crank and driveshaft had rounded out splines. He welded a 1/2" socket on the bottom of the crank and milled the top of the shaft square. Worked great until I tried to take it apart.

I had a 66 evinrude 90 that Bob helped me keep alive for many years! It had the electric shift foot What a pain it was!

Bob had heart surgery & is on bed rest right now.

I remember going there when I was under 10 years old and being fascinated.

I remember going there just a few years ago and being just as fascinated.

A very smart, incredibly interesting, and super nice man. I hope he fares well after surgery.
